
On May 21, a charity event was held to help Surami Orphanage, The event was organized by the Ministry of Justice (MoJ).
Almost all entities of the Ministry of Justice participated in the event: Public Prosecutor’s Office, National Agency of Public Registry, Civil Registry Agency, National Bureau for Enforcement, National Archive and Chamber of Notaries.
The employees of the MoJ collected clothes, toys, musical instruments, sporting equipment, sweets, food, books, etc.
There are 47 children at Surami Orphanage. The idea of holding such event with participation of entities of MoJ emerged after the employees of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Georgia visited Surami Orphanage on easter, as part of an Easter charity act.
The charity event will not be one-time activity and will be continued in future.
